Most people who play games regularly assume they know the history behind them. The titles, the studios, the mechanics that defined genres. Some of that knowledge holds up under questioning. Some of it turns out to be hazier than expected.
This trivia game covers video game history across three difficulty levels. Easy sticks to iconic titles and basics anyone with a controller in their hands would recognize. Medium goes into studio histories, game mechanics, and genre origins. Hard is for people who actually remember which level the Cyberdemon first appears in.
Ten questions per round, randomized each time, with a short fact after each answer whether you get it right or wrong. The fact notes alone are worth a read if you want to fill in some gaps.

The question bank currently covers 36 questions across all three levels, with 10 drawn at random each round. More questions and new topic sets are planned. If there is a particular area of gaming history you would like to see covered, leave a note in the comments.
